My Story

I have recently had a cancer scare. Thankfully everything is ok for me. But while I was in hospital I met some children who didnt have such good news. I also had the opportunity to see and experience first hand how wonderful Candlelighters are and the amazing work they do. From having Netflix at your bed to delicious food to tempt you to eat. They were so freindly and supportive and full of joy. They make such a difference to what is a scary and overwhelming situation.

So I have decided I would like to raise some money to say thank you and help other children. In January I had both my legs broken and put in external fixators, cages. This makes it very difficult for me to walk and I rely on crutches and a wheelchair to get around. I have recently been swimming and I sink! The cages are very heavy. But, I am going to try and swim 20 lengths and would like to ask if you would please sponsor me to do so. My aim is to raise £10.00 per length with the hope of making it to £200.00.
